Ten Days...

We have 10 days until our very first Gathering of Rainmakers. I would like to add the daily devotions that I am sharing on Facebook as we countdown to our event. The focus of the daily devotion is Revelation chapter 4. The scene around heaven should become familiar to us, as it is from there that we are to pray, and for its effects to influence and transform earth.


10 Day Countdown!
Over the next 10 days I will share snippets from Revelation 4. I would like to encourage you to read this chapter every day. It is how things look in the spiritual realm. We are too familiar with our earthly plain when there is a realm more real than our eyes can see. It requires the grace of the Holy Spirit to open our spiritual eyes (and the other spiritual senses), to see and experience the heavenly realm. Jesus said that it is within reach (at hand). It's not a stretch or a journey away, it's within reach! For all of us!
Today we look at Revelation 4:1,
"Before me a door standing open in heaven"
Ask Jesus to open our eyes to see the heavenly realm. To see that which is more real than the seen.
One of my all time favorite quotes is by Brother Yun. Talking about his time in prison for being a Christian, he said,
"The prison bars are true, but they are not the Truth"
I often think of this quote when facing legitimate, physical, earthly things that seek to overwhelm me with their presence.
He can open our eyes to see "a door open in heaven"

Floored by the Glory!

  Let me tell you about a wonderful couple called Dick and Gladys Funnell. They have become my new best friends. Just one visit with them and I was impacted. Dick and Gladys moved here from America in the early 2000's to pray for Revival. God orchestrated it beautifully. Over the years they have connected with, and championed those who are for revival. They know so many people because of this, and with keen eyes, like spiritual meterologists, they scan the heavens for the coming rains of God, or Fire, which they equally seem to love. They are true Revival People, true Rainmakers!   On Tuesday the 11th of February 2025, I went to spend the day with Dick and Gladys, along with my father and mother. Preparing for a Move of God

Many years ago I was in a church in Germany. Me and one of my best friends, Nathan, were visiting a friend in that city, and he took us to his church. It was a very lively charismatic church. It was fun, the singing was loud and enthusiastic. During the end of the worship time the pastor's wife invited people who "wanted a touch from God" forward for prayer, and this included "a healing touch". Nathan was sick with a cold, so he went forward for prayer.  About ten to fifteen people were stood in line, and I watched as the pastor's wife began to pray for the people. The music was pumping, and every person hit the floor like a sack of kartoffeln (potatoes in German).  As the people fell, it felt like the music got louder, the congregation were clapping, and there was excitement in the air. My initial thought was, "Oh man, Nathan's going to get smashed!". He was next in line, and when she laid her hands on him nothing happened. I laughed to myself...
